Valena and I became best friends in kindergarten, 1956, at Webster Grade School. That friendship continued through high school and beyond graduation at Lafayette in 1969. We kept in touch periodically and went to lunch several times when she would come up from her home in Shawnee, Ks. I loved her and will miss her terribly. Rest In Peace, my friend!
